Strong Sialon II ™ (silicon nitride or si3n4) Protection Tubes with excellent non- wetting properties.

 

Our thermocouple protection sheaths are used extensively for continuous temperature measurement in nonferrous metals.

 

They have better non-wetting properties than syalon or silicon nitride.

 

We manufacture a full range of silicon nitride and sialon advanced ceramic thermocouple protection sheaths or tubes for use in the molten aluminium and non-ferrous industry.

 

Sialon thermocouple protection sheaths are an advanced ceramic tube offering outstanding performance for temperature control in aluminium foundries and smelters and are extremely cost effective compared to other materials, such as cast iron, silicon carbide and alumina.

 

Sialons are alloys of silicon nitride and possess a unique combination of physical properties, such as high strength, toughness, excellent thermal shock resistance and resistance to corrosion, which make it the perfect material in this application.

We have two standard diameters TC protection tubes in stock in lengths varying from 220 mm up to 1,800 mm. Tooling cost may apply. Stock items have a standard groove.

 

Gastight stainless steel adapters are specially suitable for the TC tubes. Test our new valve adapter for low-pressure die casting machines.
